  • Compare the diagnoses of common and rare dermatoses.
  • Recognize look-alikes in clinical dermatology diagnosis and their distinguishing features

Description:
Our eyes can fool us. This session will review visual differential diagnosis of dozens of clinical cases using brief view comparisons, demonstrating certain techniques and approaches (such as thin slicing) commonly used in rapid visual diagnosis. Patterns and similarities used as clues based on lesion morphology, color, distribution, location, pattern, shape, size, and texture will be compared. Clues that help us recognize the zebras will be discussed.
