Learning Objectives:
Following this course, the attendee should be able to:

  • Discuss the differential diagnosis of cutaneous sclerosis, including common mimickers
  • Recognize clinically relevant disease subtypes and perform a tailored workup
  • Employ new and established therapies to treat sclerosing skin disease

Description:
We will take a practical approach to sclerosing skin disease. A series of patient cases and photos will be used to illustrate the spectrum of these conditions and some potential mimickers. Specific comorbidities associated with disease subtypes will be discussed in order to guide workup. Both new and more established therapeutic pearls will be highlighted.
