Following this course, the attendee should be able to:

  • Discuss male cutaneous physiology, anatomy, aging, and attitude towards medical aesthetics.
  • Outline a practical approach to the aging male face through the use of minimally invasive aesthetic procedures including neurotoxins, dermal fillers, lasers, and body sculpting devices.
  • List strategies to increase the volume of male aesthetic patients to your practice through marketing, staffing, and clinic design.

Description:
This course will detail the experience creating an exclusive men’s aesthetic and laser practice in a growing market. A gender-specific approach to medical aesthetics is necessary given the unique physiology and anatomy of the aging male face. The use of minimally invasive aesthetic procedures to maintain the masculine features of the male face will be outlined. Strategies to attract male aesthetic patients will be described including the appropriate use of social and traditional media, office design, and staff.
