  • Apply lasers in the treatment of traumatic injuries.
  • Integrate adjuvant techniques for the care of traumatic scars.
  • Assess the needs of traumatic scar patients and facilitate rehabilitation from traumatic injuries

Description:
At some point in their life, everyone will have a scar from trauma or a procedure. In this session we will discuss multiple different modalities in the treatment of wounded warriors and its applicability to civilian care; motor vehicle accidents, burns and other traumatic scars. Approaches that will be discussed include lasers, neurotoxins, and fillers, as well as how their synergistic effects can optimize patient outcomes. All aspects of care from range of motion to aesthetics will be touched on.
