Description:
Dermatology practices utilize a variety of techniques to document patient encounters, including handwritten, computerized and hybrid systems. In some instances records will include inadequate or excessive information. In this session we will discuss proper use of CPT codes for a variety of encounters, and share the feedback that the AAD has received from a variety of insurers regarding documentation concerns.
