Advocate of the Year Award

Each year the American Academy of Dermatology Association (AADA) recognizes outstanding grassroots advocacy efforts through the Advocate of the Year Award program. The goal of the award is to promote year-around advocacy and acknowledge the positive effects of a single advocate.

Please note that current members of a council, committee, task force, or workgroup directly involved with the selection or approval of the awardee are not eligible to be considered for said award. Therefore, members of the Grassroots Advocacy Task Force, the Congressional Policy Committee, the GAHP Council, the Board of Directors, and the Executive Committee are not eligible for the award.
