Hello, my fellow Academy members!

As your AAD President, I am so excited that the best long weekend of the year is finally here! When you read this, I’ll already be in Orlando, and I look forward to being joined by thousands of you for 2025’s biggest and best dermatologic event: the AAD ANNUAL MEETING.

Throughout my year as president, I’ve stressed the importance of “Unity of our Specialty.” As we come together as a united group over the next several days, I’m excited to share in all the conviviality that is a key part of every Annual Meeting. There’s nothing quite like the energy that comes from the best and brightest from around the world sharing the latest developments in our field, both in the session rooms, all around the convention center, and beyond.

As we gather, please keep in mind that all attendees agree to a code of conduct when we register for the Annual Meeting. It’s a good guide to help us stay within the bounds of appropriate behavior, and ensure that we all have an enjoyable and safe meeting experience.

I hope to see you on Friday afternoon for the Opening Ceremony at 5 p.m. in the Chapin Theater, where I’ll be delivering a welcome address, honoring this year’s Gold Medal winner, and interviewing our guest speaker, Martha Stewart.

This year’s Annual Meeting will be like none other to date — with so many exciting new events, never-before-seen educational content, and a revamped experience with YOU, the member, always at top of mind.

I look forward to connecting with you while in Orlando, and please accept my heartfelt gratitude for your continued support of our AAD.
