Annual Meeting resident stipends program
The American Academy of Dermatology offers grants/stipends to eligible U.S./Canadian dermatology residents to attend the AAD 2025 Annual Meeting in Orlando, Florida, March 7-11. Each qualifying resident is eligible to receive a stipend check of $500 U.S. dollars to assist with expenses.
* No application/form is required. Residency programs will confirm their rosters, and once confirmed, we will send an email to those residents who are eligible with the details.
Qualifications and rules
Only open to:
ACGME and RCPSC approved dermatology residency training programs in the U.S. and Canada; and
Those completing residency with a graduation year of 2025, 2026, or 2027.
Must:
Register by the early bird deadline: TBD
No exceptions will be made for the 2025 year for registration after this date.

Attend the 2025 Annual meeting in person and confirm attendance while onsite.
Note that the following are not eligible for this program:
Those in a fellowship. However, if they have completed a U.S./Canadian dermatology residency they qualify for complimentary AAD Graduate membership.
Residents in military programs. However, eligible residents may be eligible for housing. Please reach out to Tina with any inquiries regarding Resident Military housing.
International residents. However, those in a resident/fellowship program will be eligible for the reduced registration rate.

Other details
No application/submission of a form is required. After the program confirms its dermatology residents, we will send an email to those residents who are eligible with the details they need.
Registration for the 2025 Annual Meeting will open in late fall 2024.
The AAD will communicate with all eligible residents after their registration is complete, sending emails with further information.
Emails go to the preferred address on your account and may be routed to your spam/junk folder.
