How to enter the Board Prep Plus “Board Bonanza” Raffle
Residents can earn a raffle ticket by:
Doing a test-drive of Board Prep Plus at the AAD Resource Center during the Test Drive event on Friday, March 7 from 11:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. or 2:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m.
Leaving a review of Board Prep Plus March 1 – March 8 (current subscribers only)
Programs can earn a raffle ticket by:
Doing a test-drive of Board Prep Plus at the AAD Resource Center
Leaving a review of the Program Dashboard (active programs only)
One (1) ticket will count as one (1) entry, with the limit of two (2) entries per person. Participants must be a US or Canadian Resident with an active AAD Graduate Membership or listed as Program Chair, Program Director, Program Coordinator, or Program Administrator on the account to be eligible to enter the raffle.
Prizes
Three (3) randomly selected residents will win the following prizes:
Grand Prize: Apple iPad (10th Generation) – valued at $350
First Runner Up: $100 Visa™ Gift Card – valued at $100
Second Runner Up: $50 Visa™ Gift Card – valued at $50
One (1) randomly selected program will win their choice of:
$200 off next Board Prep Plus Institutional purchase
$10 Starbucks Gift Cards for all residents
The odds of winning a prize depend upon the number of individuals who participate in the raffle. Prize winners are responsible for any applicable federal, state, and local taxes on their prize.
Prize eligibility
Open to those who are age 18 or older at the time of entry and are active AAD Members, AAD Graduate Members or listed as Program Chair, Program Director, Program Coordinator, or Program Administrator in record. AAD employees and their immediate family, as well as AAD officers and board members, are not eligible for entry.
Winner selection and notification
AAD will contact the three (3) resident winners and one (1) program winner by text message and email to confirm a winning entry by 5:00 p.m. (EST) on Saturday, March 8, 2025. If a potential winning entrant does not respond to correspondence within 72 hours, the potential winning entrant will be disqualified, and a new winning entrant will be selected by random drawing.
Prizes may not be substituted or transferred by any contest winner and a winner may not receive cash redemption equal to the value of the prize in lieu of the prize. AAD reserves the right to substitute alternate prizes of equal or comparable value.
Restrictions; release of liability; additional terms
This raffle is void where prohibited or restricted by law, and is subject to all federal, state, and local laws and regulations. Participation in the raffle constitutes the entrant’s full and unconditional agreement to and acceptance of these official rules & regulations.
By participating in the raffle, entrants give permission for AAD to use your name in any manner it deems necessary or appropriate on its website, social media, print publications, or any other media without compensation and in perpetuity in relationship to the cause marketing event and future events.
Neither AAD nor anyone involved in administering or providing the prize for the raffle will have liability for (A) technical malfunctions, including those arising from electronic, hardware, software, network, internet or computer malfunctions, (B) any damages or losses of any kind caused by any acceptance, possession or use of the prize, or (C) inaccessibility or unavailability of AAD’s exhibitor floor in whole or in part for any reason.
By participating in the raffle, the winner agrees that under no circumstances will AAD, its affiliates, and their officers, directors, employees, agents, or licensees (“Released Parties”) be liable for any form of damages arising out of their participation in the raffle, including but not limited to any injuries that winners or others may suffer while at the meeting venue or off-site events, and each winner and his/her family and heirs further waive any rights to bring any claim against the Released Parties in any forum related to their participation in the raffle.
If for any reason this raffle is not capable of being conducted as planned due to tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, acts of God, government regulations, or any other causes which, in the sole opinion of AAD, corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of this raffle, AAD reserves the right to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the raffle. This raffle is also void where prohibited by law, including in jurisdictions requiring registration, filing, trust account, or posting of a bond, or any other requirements or disclosures that are not expressly satisfied by these rules and regulations.
This raffle is being conducted by the American Academy of Dermatology, 9500 W. Bryn Mawr Ave. #500, Rosemont, Illinois 60018. Prizes awarded under this raffle are paid for with AAD funds. No purchase is necessary to enter this raffle.
