Reinstate membership
To start the reinstatement process, complete all the required fields in the form below, upload the required documents, and submit.
If you've never been a dues-paying member and are eligible, you can apply for full membership. Learn more about who should complete the reinstatement form below.

Please allow 7-10 business days for processing. We process all requests in the order they are received. Please do not contact us separately to expedite the request. You will be notified when the request is approved and how to process payment of current year’s membership dues, plus the $100 reinstatement fee.
Note: Current member requirements must be met, per the AAD Bylaws, to be accepted back into membership.
Reinstatement requests are for the current year only for past dues-paying members. (This applies to any Fellow, International Fellow, Associate, International Associate, Affiliate, or Adjunct member who is requesting reinstatement to the same category.)
Membership dues are not pro-rated based on when you reinstate.
Full membership dues will be due if you wish to be active for the current year.

Do not complete this form if you have recently completed or will be completing a dermatology residency or fellowship, or if have never been a dues-paying member. Instead, if eligible, learn more and apply for full membership.
Note that past DermCare Team participants or current RNs, LPNs, PAs, etc. are not eligible for reinstatement. The DermCare Team Program ended in 2021. Please do not submit a form but instead contact us at mrc@aad.org.
