The Academy goes live with its meetings in 2022

In 2022, the AAD’s Annual Meeting returned as a live event in Boston. The 2022 AAD Annual Meeting in Boston was attended by more than 15,000 attendees, who took in the Academy’s rich and varied offerings, including more than 7,500 medical personnel, more than 3,000 members, and more than 2,000 residents, many of whom were both grateful and excited while experiencing their very first AAD Meeting. There were also approximately 1,000 expert speakers lined up to cover 300 sessions.

The Academy also debuted its Innovation Academy Meeting in Vancouver. Innovation Academy 2022 delivered on its commitment to provide enhanced education, engaging speakers, and networking opportunities for professionals in dermatology. The July 21-24 meeting featured notable events, from sessions and keynotes to non-CME education and increased social networking opportunities throughout, including a new Welcome Reception. Attendees gained insight on new research, developed innovative ideas for their practices, and collected invaluable practice management tips.
