AADA members and patients advocate on Capitol Hill at the Legislative Conference
The AADA Legislative Conference once again returned to Capitol Hill this past September, bringing critical dermatologic issues before members of Congress.
Over 160 attendees came together to learn about policy issues affecting dermatology patients and their practices, culminating in a visit to Capitol Hill in which AADA members participated in over 190 meetings with members of Congress and congressional staff. Attendees included physicians, patient advocates, practice administrators, and state dermatology leaders.
AADA members were also encouraged to share their experiences on social media during their time at the conference. At least 15 tweets, 35 Instagram posts/reels, and 50+ Instagram stories were shared with #AADAontheHill.
