Members of Congress in attendance included Rep. John Joyce, MD, FAAD (R-PA), David Joyce (R-OH), Jen Kiggans (R-VA), Tony Cardenas (D-CA), Marianette Miller Meeks (R-IA), Aaron Bean (R-FL), Deborah Ross (D-NC), Robet Aderholt (R-AL), Andrew Garbarino (R-NY), Kim Schrier (D-WA), and Steve Cohen (D-TN).
The AADA hosts this annual skin cancer check during Skin Cancer Awareness Month for congressional staff to educate policymakers on the importance of annual skin cancer checks and to demonstrate to legislators how critical dermatology is to people’s lives.
