New skin healthy touts your expertise

The Academy published a new issue of skin healthy this summer. Members receive 50 free issues of skin healthy and can place them in their waiting rooms and around their offices.

Each issue of skin healthy features articles that directly quote members, so your patients receive relevant, up-to-date information from knowledgeable experts — further increasing the public’s trust in the experience and expertise of board-certified dermatologists. The prominently displayed member quotes are central to skin healthy articles, and help position you at the forefront of skin, hair, and nail health care.

The Summer 2024 issue of skin healthy featured 11 new articles and quoted 17 member experts. Some of the topics covered in the new issue include facial mask dos and don’ts, sunburn treatment, vitiligo wellness tips, what the color of your nails could reveal about your health, and more.

For the first time, the new issue included sidebars containing additional information on the topic being discussed in the article. This two-pronged approach gives your patients a primer on skin, hair, and nail conditions alongside actionable tips that position dermatologists as the experts and help raise awareness of the specialty and the vastness of what it treats.
