“I am in sixth grade in Anchorage, Alaska. I have hypohidrotic ectodermal dysplasia. It is a skin condition that causes me to sometimes overheat, and I can't sweat very much. I went to Camp Discovery in Minnesota in the summer of 2022. It was my first time attending! I flew down by myself for the first time. My grandma picked me up and took me to camp. At Camp Discovery they accommodated my skin care needs and made my experience fun. There was horseback riding, archery, tubing, and so much more! I made a lot of good friends and I hope I will get to come back to Camp Discovery next summer.”
