If a skin check is not currently available in your area, we encourage you to perform regular skin self-exams using the ABCDEs of melanoma.

If you notice any new spots on your skin, spots that are different from others, or spots that are changing, itching, or bleeding, contact a board-certified dermatologist.

While most skin checks occur during the spring, dermatologists volunteer their time throughout the year to this program. As skin checks can be scheduled any time of the year and in many different locations, you will continue to receive these notifications.
