Giving back as a leader

Dr. Willett’s story

I’m passionate about leadership within the AAD. The AAD gives so much back to our community of dermatologists. It also continues to advocate for the specialty as a whole.

The AAD’s Leadership Institute offerings helped me to understand my strengths. This was done through the sessions I participated in, the mentorship opportunities, and connecting with other passionate dermatologists. I learned how to lead effectively, and how to channel my energy toward the causes I care about.

Now, I’m actively involved in the Learning Resources Committee, and I’m excited to continue growing as a leader within the organization.
