As a fellow of the AAD, you demonstrate your commitment to patients, colleagues, and the public by maintaining the highest level of professionalism and ethics.
The AAD has a way for you to showcase that commitment — choose to take the AAD’s Professionalism and Ethics Pledge today!
The pledge is totally voluntary. It’s not a new set of rules. In keeping with the AAD’s vision for unity and professionalism in the field of dermatology, the pledge simply lays out what dermatologists can aspire to:
Put patients’ welfare above other interests
Provide care that adheres to professional standards of practice
Provide care for those in need
Foster collegiality through interactions with the medical community
Support diversity, equity, and inclusion
